5 Big Design Changes to CAM4 This Week
Let’s be honest, pretty things just make life better. Pretty women, pretty pussies, pretty websites, pretty shoes. Our design team agrees, and here’s the 5 visual changes they’ve made to CAM4 this week:
1. Matching Icons! All icons inside your chat window now match with their corresponding buttons outside of the chat window.
2. Easily see the number of viewers in a show. This is an important one, your viewer count will now be displayed in your chat window, easy for you to see. In the Users Tab you can also see the number of people chatting.
3. View the profiles of friend requests. To help you actually know who wants to be your friend, you’ll now be able to view their profile right from the friend request pop-up.
4. Send PMs to offline users in viewer list. As a Gold Member, just click their name and you’ll have the option to leave them a private message for when they come online next.
5. New chat notifications. When you get a new message, the page title will show you how many unread messages you have.
That’s it for this week, but we also have Group Shows and Cam2Cam that recently launched. It’s been a busy summer, so I hope you’ve gotten a chance to enjoy the greatly improved CAM4! It looks like we’re set for winter already. Who needs to leave their warm house when you’ve got all this?!
It really sucks that I can’t cutandpaste. When watching a cam in a language that I don’t understand I can’t tip because I do not have any idea what is being said, therefore I don’t tip and don’t have to buy any more tokens.

The new features are nice and all. But now we seemed to lose the ability to cut and paste to translate sites (such as Google Translate) from the chat window. I use this all the time to talk to friends and other performers.Can this ability be reinstated?

Great news!! You will be able to copy the chat into translator soon! There is a ticket in the works to fix this issue, so it’s nothing permanent. Just a little glitch :) <3
I as well communicate with some of my viewers through copy and paste in chat and enter it in google translate. Also, It would be nice to see a way to chat with friends with out using the cam4 email or trolling rooms looking like a stalker. Maybe a side chat option or something.
Would be cool if we could see the numbers of unread msgs on main chat when talking in PM :))
Changes seem to have removed ability to use cursor to copy lines of chat and input into translator e.g Spanish to English in Google translate. I used thsi function all the time.Can u please re-instate and respond to me..Thanks
How about developing a ban that works on spammers that spam a room but leave before they can be banned for spamming?
We lost ability to highlight and then copy text from chat into translator. Many of our tippers used this very much. Also, would be nice to be able to delete pending friend requests that were sent and not accepted.
customizable watermarks would be awesome, if possible. For people that can not use cam twist/ manycams apps
