New Cam4 Features: Sort by Country/Language
In an effort to bring people together and strengthen the Cam4 community, we have added two small features to help you find a better match when searching for profiles and cams to watch.
- We’ve added two new tabs to the cam category listing: the first shows all performers in your home country; the second categorizes the shows by language. For example in the screenshot circled above, CA stands for Canada, and EN stands for English.
- At the bottom of each page on Cam4.com is a new listing to sort cams by language. You can also see the shows most popular in their respective country and language.

I like the country feature, but I’d like to hover over it and choose straight, couple, gay, party, etc. As a straight guy, I don’t want to search through a sea of dicks to find a pair of tits.
I’d also like a similar discriminating feature on the couples menu choice – straight, gay, etc. – once again, would like to able to choose straight couples only.

Searching by country, sex, and other parameters is available as a gold feature. The reason it’s not free is because it takes a lot of system resources to accomplish this.

The number of guests watching alongside members has suddenly disappeared – this was especially useful for broadcasters to know just how many people were watching even if they are not members. I hope this isn’t permanent!

This is fixed
It has been pretty much of a disaster so far. I have been trying to watch a performer but wherever I try to go to her page I am redirected to the CAM4 homepage. Other folks that I have met in her room are having the same kind of problem. All I can do is watch the little icon of her in my friends list and see she that she is broadcasting. The problem first popped up last week but then went away the next day. It started again yesterday and still is messed up. Right now I would call it FUBAR.

Not sure what your problem is. Can you send details to support so they can fix it. include names of cams that you cannot access.

Being able to sort by other factors would be useful. I’ve had the poll up on the CAM4 Yahoo! Group since February 18 ,2010.
On February 28, 2010 I created a poll to see what the membership feel about being able to sort United States users by only state, city/town and state or neither.

The way the site was before made it difficult to allow for a lot of different sorts. We changed things a bit so we may be able to do it now. Will see what we can do.
I was wondering one of the next updates i thought it would be great if we can separate into sections ie : ) commited , married , single , open relationship etc hope you agree.

We had no plans for that. But it would be a good on e to add to the search feature.
Thanks so much for this feature. It’d be nice if you also added an option to see only people from our country in chat rooms since in popular rooms chatting becomes impossible.

One of the features of a gold membership is enhanced chat where you can setup chat to only see chat from people using a particular language.
E-mail notifications are highly needed!
