You don’t earn any tokens from viewers who don’t know that you’re broadcasting! Make sure that viewers can find your show and want to click your thumbnail, and you’ll have the key to success on Cam4.
There are a few things you can do to help promote your broadcast right on Cam4.
During broadcasts, a window near the top (next to the Cam4 logo) allows you to add a status update, which will appear next to your thumbnail on the Cam4 directory pages. Write a short message – about 2 or 3 words – to entice viewers to click your thumbnail and watch your show!
Common statuses include models’ moods, themes and goals.
Try sending messages to past tippers, reminding them of future shows and encouraging them to come watch you again. Once you are logged in to Cam4, you can access your Stats, which include overall earnings, time spent broadcasting, etc – by clicking on “Tokens” in the top menu and selecting Performance History or Tipping History. Clicking the usernames of people who have tipped allows you to send a message, thanking them or inviting them back.
Promotion is a very important part of the success of all the top-earning models on Cam4. Feel free to use every possible avenue to highlight yourself, including external resources such as FaceBook, Twitter, blogs like Tumblr, and even the Cam4 Forums!
