Shoe Fetishes

Published 28/10/2014

Having a fetish doesn’t necessarily mean wanting to wear adult diapers or a furry costume 🙂 . You just have to find a normally non-sexual object or action arousing

The mere mention of the word “fantasy” arouses thoughts of threesomes, blondes, and role-playing. But “fetish”? That just freaks people out. But a fetish is really just a specific type of fantasy practiced by many, probably more than you realize.

Anything can become a fetish, although fetishes change with the times and fashions. In the 19th century, for example, when ladies wore gloves, hand fetishes were common.

Sure, there may be women out there with this fixation, but the majority of shoe fetishists, are men. It’s the appearance of the shoe that matters, how high the heel is, the shaft length of a boot. Some say it’s the proximity to the leg, which inevitably leads to the genital region.

There are 2 most common shoe fetishes: high heel and boot fetish

HIGH-HEEL FETISH

The male enthusiast gets carried away by the sight of women’s high-heeled shoes. This fascination probably develops when the fetishist is a young boy, when unconsciously he sees high heels looming over him, accidentally associates the sight with sexual sensation, and can never forget it.

BOOT FETISH

The most popular boots are knee-high and over the knee.

Unlike shoes, boot styles have often appeared as street wear before they inspire fashion designers. Boots are usually seen as a sign of empowerment for the wearer, especially when worn by women. In the BDSM culture boots are usually seen as a statement of dominance. So called boot worship became a common sub cultural practice among sadomasochists and related fetishists in the early 20th Century.
