The Cam4 community is full of amazing people from around the world, coming to watch shows just like yours — but from time to time you may have to deal with an unfriendly viewer or unpleasant comments in chat.
Thankfully you have access to several tools to protect yourself from viewers like these while you are broadcasting. Remember, it is always better to just ignore or ban these types of viewers, rather than engage them and play into their game. Save your attention for the people who are enjoying your show and tipping!
If you need to ignore or ban someone, simply click on the name of the annoying viewer, choose Moderation and select the option that best suits the situation:
Kick: Removes the viewer from the room, but they can return.
Ban: Removes the viewer from the room and does not allow them to return.
Silence: The viewer may remain in the room but they can’t participate in the chat.
It is important to feel comfortable during your show, don’t worry about using these tools when a viewer is being disruptive!
