Tutorial: Lighting Equipment w/ Sammy Strips!
Have you ever been camming on CAM4 and looked at yourself on the screen and thought “wow…this lighting sucks”? Have you ever wondered how your perfect self can get the best lighting for your cam shows?! Look no further – CAM4’s own Sammy Strips is here to rescue you from the nuisance that is a bad lighting job!
Filming yourself in front a ring light, a video lighting kit or even with a blank sheet can make a huge difference in how you appear on cam. It can soften up your room and shine a light (hehe) on your best physical features!
This week, cam performer and our very own social media guru, Sammy Strips, talked to her fans about natural lighting, ring lights, and which products are a bang for your buck!
Here are the HIGHLIGHTS (we can’t help ourselves!) from Sammy’s video tutorial!

-Add a selfie ring light for mobile broadcasting on CAM4, or for small Snapchat clips.
-Play with the lighting in your room to give it a cozy feel! Think about adding in some twinkle lights to your mirrors, your bed or your bathtub. These will add a soft and *magical* to your cam shows!
-Defuse defuse defuse! Try to soften your lighting with plain bedsheets. If you need just a hint of lighting, use a white sheet of paper.
