The ER finally went quiet after hours of chaos. Tyler slipped out the back door into the night air, lighting a cigarette and taking a long drag. The smoke hit his lungs like medicine, tension easing just a fraction. The door opened again. Mia walked out, scrub top clinging to her, a cigarette between her lips. The flame of her lighter briefly lit up her face—messy hair, full lips, a dangerous little smirk.
“Figured I’d find you hiding,” she teased, leaning against the brick beside him.
“Or stalking me,” he said, exhaling.
“Maybe both.” Her fingers brushed his as she tapped ash into the can at their feet. The touch lingered.
She looked at him sideways, eyes glinting. “You gonna keep pretending you don’t wanna fuck me?”
Tyler chuckled, but the sound died when she pressed her body into his cigarette dangling forgotten in her hand. She kissed him hard, smoky lips parting, tongue sliding into his mouth like she owned it. He groaned, his free hand gripping her ass, dragging her flush against his growing bulge.
She ground against him, moaning low. “Fuck, you’re hard already.”
The cigarettes were tossed aside. Tyler shoved her back against the brick wall, hands roaming. He tugged her scrub pants down just enough to slip his fingers inside her panties. Heat and wetness coated his fingertips instantly.
