We are thrilled to be launching CAM4VR in partnership with VRTube! Over the past six months we\u2019ve been busy bringing virtual reality to life for all CAM4 viewers to experience.<\/p>\n

She co-founded VRTube, the world\u2019s first VR webcam platform in 2014. As the world\u2019s first VR camgirl, you need to read her VICE interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first ever CAM4VR show will take place today with Ela Darling<\/a> at xxpm EST.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can watch in VR if you have a headset. Go here to see the tech specs. If you don\u2019t have a VR headset you\u2019ll be able to watch the show as you normally would.<\/p>\n

How will CAM4VR change my experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re not wearing a virtual reality headset, you\u2019ll see the shows just like a regular camshow. However, if you\u2019ve got a VR headset then you\u2019ll view the shows in 3d virtual reality. Only VR broadcasts will be compatible. VR broadcasts will offer a 360 degree view of the performer\u2019s surroundings and they\u2019ll be able to move around the room, appearing as though you\u2019re in their room.<\/p>\n

How do I use CAM4VR?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To use CAM4 VR as a viewer, you\u2019ll need to have a VR headset such as Google Cardboard or Oculus Rift. You will need a VR camera. Currently we are doing limited beta testing; but if you\u2019re interested in joining in the future, register here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ela will be in Miami doing live demos of CAM4VR at CamCon<\/a> and Xbiz Miami<\/a> from May 31st to June 3rd. We\u2019ll have live updates on Twitter and the blog so keep us bookmarked!<\/p>\n
