Show off something new.<\/h2>\n<p>If you decide to take a selfie to show off a new haircut or a new tattoo, make sure that you frame the photo in a way that highlights the new feature that has you so excited.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Be sure to smile or do something cheerful.<\/h2>\n<p>A sad face or a frown will not help.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Take a full-length photo.<\/h2>\n<p>If you want to show off a great new outfit or your perfect body, you will need to stand in front of a full-length mirror to capture your body from head to toe. In this instance, your face is no longer the focus of the photo.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Pay attention to good lighting.<\/h2>\n<p>Having a solid light source is an essential part of taking any kind of photograph, and selfies are no different. If you try to take a selfie in a dimly-lit room or one with harsh fluorescent lighting, it won&#8217;t turn out the way you want it to.<\/p>\n<h2>6.
