They received funding, which was in the amount of $206 million dollars to better research a mini-osmotic pump that is inserted beneath the skin to treat HIV and Type II diabetes.<\/p>\n
A foundation set up by Bill Gates is contributing $140 million to help with research.<\/p>\n
This pump will be great for people wanting to take PrEP but think they will not remember to take it daily.<\/p>\n
