{"id":1411,"date":"2012-10-10T22:53:03","date_gmt":"2012-10-10T22:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gay.blogs.cam4.com\/?p=1411"},"modified":"2012-10-10T22:53:03","modified_gmt":"2012-10-10T22:53:03","slug":"study-domestic-violence-among-lgbt-community-on-the-rise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cam4.com\/blog-gay\/2012\/10\/study-domestic-violence-among-lgbt-community-on-the-rise\/","title":{"rendered":"STUDY: Domestic Violence Among LGBT Community On The Rise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new report by The National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs<em><\/em>, released today, reveals a significant increase in intimate partner violence among the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and HIV-affected community.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <em>Intimate Partner Violence in<\/em> <em>Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and HIV-Affected (LGBTQH) Communities in the United States in 2011 <\/em>report:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In 2011, NCAVP documented 19 intimate partner violence (IPV) homicides, the highest yearly total ever recorded by the coalition and more than three times the 6 documented homicides in 2010.
