Naughty's Supplement Suggestions: Why protein(any type as long as its WHEY), Creatine Monohydrate(preferably micronized creatine, only take while bulking not cutting), Pre workout drink (my favs are 1mr, Jacked, NO Shotgun) For Ectomorphs (skinny body type=ectomorph) like myself: Weight Gainers: Serious mass(best one i have taken puts on weight fast and can be used as a meal replacement) be careful while taking these food is always a better option and you can gain alot of fat if you consume to much. For Endomorphs (heavy set body type)- If your trying to loose weight let me state the obvious.. EAT LESS and healthy. You don't have to let your taste buds control your life and body! Also look into Intermittent Fasting! read my tip #1 about it below! Some Tips on achieving a better body: (In no particular order) Tip #1- Intermittent Fasting for losing weight(no longer then 16 hours fasted is what i prefer, also take BCAA if working out at a fasted state) The more frequent you eat the more your body is being fueled on the food and not burning your fat for energy. Its hard to go 16 hours at first so i would start of at 12 or so and slowly progress until your used to it and not feeling like dyeing lol. Tip#2- Motivation (this is prob the most important as if your not motivated you wont last long.. there are no shortcuts to achieving a better body. It takes hard work, dieting, and time. Patience is a virtue.) Try taking pictures of when you start and as you progress. Take them in the same mirror same way every time so they don't look deceiving. Pictures show how much your body is changing and help keep motivated. Tip#3- Water (this is crucial and helps in so many ways. Cold water burns more calories too! Water is also proven to make you stronger and prone injury! I drink 1-2 gallons a day. you prob see me drinking on cam alot ;) ) Tip#3- Tracking calories. This is VERY important to obtaining a muscular body thats nice to look at and not covered by fat. If you have no idea what your feeding your body and how much your eating then you will have a hard time. Go online search for a calorie tracker enter your stats to find your maintenance calorie consumption. Add or subtract 500 calories depending if your trying to bulk or cut. Tip#4- Train Safe- FORM IS KEY!!! Dont let your ego ruin your body and take you out from working out. Remember your competeing against yourself not joe whose benching 300+. Besides hes prob on roids ;) .. The negative part of the rep is arguably the most important movement of the rep which is what i focus on expload with good form up and slowly down 3-5 second negative reps is what i do. Its not about how much wiehgt your lifting if your goal is too have a body that looks big and strong its all about STIMULATING the muscles being worked. So next time your working out try dropping the weights you normally lift and lift with good form nice and controlled and i guarantee you will get just as good of a workout or better with less chance of injury. Tip#5 Mind muscle Connection (go youtube "Vicsnatural" he shows this method perfectly! or google this! this is VERY important to obtaining a proportioned physique and maximizing muscle gains. Alot of people don't even know about this and just "lift weights". So drop the weights quit trying to show off and focus on the particular muscle being worked. Your body naturally uses multiple muscles when you over work it with too much weight so at times the weight needs to be lowered in order for that muscle to catch up to the rest. Tip#6 -Sleep- You need to sleep around 7-8 hours minimum EVERY night in order to grow. Especially if your natural this is when your body recovers and grows. If you work out hard and sleep 3 hours you worked out for no reason pretty much because your body cant repair itself.
