You are right about Austen vs Forster. Just read Emma, and it was good too. Haven't read Northanger Abbey yet, but I have the others. Persuasion was the only one I didn't really care for. Hope the world is treating you well. Watch out for pythons!

Merry Xmas Miss Daisy... Interesting note: E. M. Forster has written novels like Howard's End which are in a style similar to Jane Austen, but what a difference! Austen is a 100 years earlier, but seems 10 times better written. You never know.
